Vigil Watcher of the Storm
This lone saguaro stands vigil watching a winter storm roll through at night. The clouds were to dense for any stars to pop through, but the light pollution from Phoenix added nice hues to the clouds in the distance.
Lights of the Plow
A snow plow comes raging down the road in the rim country during a nice winter storm that I'd been chasing all day. Which led me on one wild but fun chase! What a sight this was in the pitch darkness too. My first time seeing a snow plow, so there was a bit of excitement to this.

Night on the Rim
Enjoying a nice cold evening up on the rim watching the cars pass on by down below. I always find it amazing at how far the light pollution from Phoenix reaches out, like a rising sun off in the distance.

Enjoying some night time car trails over the I17 at 11pm. The light pollution from Phoenix was giving off a nice warm feel.
Rock Springs Café Falls

Midnight on the rim, watching the Milky Way slowly rise up over the horizon. Also enjoying a nice 51f temperature at this hour. A nice break from what was cooking in the valley earlier.
Watson's Last Light
Hiking back out of Watson lake during sunset, the colors turned to an incredible pink and blue.
Having a bit of fun at night waiting for the milky way to rise up. A real peaceful nights sky to watch.

Exploring some ruins in Tonto National Forest at night is always fun. Lots of snakes and scorpions made their appearance this night.
Wigwam Motel at Night
While passing through Holbrook, the Wigwam Motel is a must stop. A classic Arizona cultural icon, it has a lot of really neat old cars park throughout the motel. A lot of photographic opportunities here.
